Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blackberry puree until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
