Cajun Sausage Pasta is a delicious and easy one-pot dish that combines the flavors of spicy sausage with creamy sauce and pasta, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, and bell peppers to the pot and sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in the penne pasta and reduce heat to simmer until pasta is cooked.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  7. Add the crispy turkey bacon back to the pot and mix everything together.
