Cheeseburger Macaroni Soup

A delicious, creamy cheeseburger macaroni soup made easy with turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until tender.
  4. Pour in beef broth, and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in macaroni and cook until al dente.
  6. Reduce heat, and whisk in cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Top with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground turkey with plant-based meat.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
