Cheeseburger Soup Recipe

A rich and creamy soup that combines all the delicious flavors of a cheeseburger into one comforting bowl.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the potatoes, beef broth, shredded carrots, garlic powder, and paprika to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the halfway and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, top with additional cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • This soup can be made in advance and reheated.
