  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, add the beaten eggs. In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with taco seasoning.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken first into the flour, then into the egg, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing the crispy chicken on a tortilla, then add toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in lime juice and garlic for at least 30 minutes before coating.
