Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

A delicious and comforting chicken tetrazzini recipe that features turkey bacon for an added twist.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  5. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add chicken broth and milk gradually, stirring until thickened.
  7. Combine the cooked chicken, peas, spaghetti, turkey bacon, and cheese into the sauce. Mix well.
  8. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • You can use leftover turkey or rotisserie chicken as substitutes.
  • For a lighter version, use low-fat cheese and broth.
