  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, pepper, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and stir until combined; dough will be shaggy.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, shape it into a ball, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, place the dough inside, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
