  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden and has a nutty aroma.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine the brown butter, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. For the glaze, whisk together maple syrup and sea salt and drizzle over the cooled bread.
