  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the milk gradually, whisking constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in the cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce; mix until well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, and sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
